This year your child will be able to create their own piece of art at home!
Students were sent home with instructions. You will find a 'Square 1' Art instruction sheet along with their drawing paper. See below for links with inspirational ideas.

SQUARE 1 ART TAKE HOME PROJECT
Square One Art is partnering with ALT to celebrate your child’s art! At home, your child will create a piece of art that can be featured on your choice of mugs, tiles, coasters, pillow cover and so much more!
This year, Square 1 Art will look a little different. Instead of having the students complete their art project in the classroom, we are going to have the projects completed at home. Although this is an OPTIONAL assignment, we are encouraging all students to participate in this PTO fundraiser.
Step 1: Using the attached paper provided, have your child complete the project at home. Make sure to write your child’s name, grade, teacher and school name.
Step 2: Return completed projects to the classroom teacher no later than Friday, Oct 13th.
Step 3: The first week of November, you will receive a custom catalog with your child’s artwork to order. Please make sure to order by November 15th.
Step 4: Items will be shipped to your home 2-3 weeks after the order date. Just in time for the holidays!

ART PAPER GUIDELINES:
Use art paper that was provided to you
Fill in the header information.
Art is created in the 8.5"x8.5" square area just below the student information header.
ARTWORK GUIDELINES:
Bright, colorful and well colored in, works best!
Keep important details 1'' away from the edge, but color in backgrounds fully to the edge of paper. Fully colored backgrounds look best on products!
Have students sign their name at least 1" away from edges of paper to avoid cropping. Signature plus year sells!
